Our pass out day was pretty awesome, Emma and I led the troop drill which was a great honour and our inspector made it down to be with us as well so very honoured to have performed in front of him too. Valour was my buddy throughout the weeks I was training and it was great to have the ride on him on my last day.
Not wanting to do things by halves, I decided it was a great idea to move house the very next day after training ended! So now I have a new home in Ross on Wye and Trusty has moved to a fab new little yard which I’m really excited about – it also happens to be the same yard Alex Holman is also based at so I have some great riders around me who I’m hoping I can benefit from some amazing training whilst I’m there as well.
I’ve still got a few more weeks of training to get through before I start properly on the unit so I’m hoping to get going with Trusty again and get him back up to speed, especially on his flat work – Oliver Townend’s amazing dressage scores may have sparked some inspiration. It’s all go here!
